# What You Need:

→ Beef Patties

01 - 1.1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
02 - 1 tsp salt
03 - ½ tsp black pepper
04 - ½ tsp garlic powder

→ Special Sauce

05 - 4 tbsp mayonnaise
06 - 2 tbsp ketchup
07 - 1 tbsp yellow mustard
08 - 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
09 - ½ tsp smoked paprika
10 - ½ tsp onion powder

→ Sliders Assembly

11 - 12 mini slider buns
12 - 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
13 - 12 dill pickle slices
14 - 1 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
15 - 1 small tomato, thinly sliced (optional)
16 - 1 cup shredded lettuce (optional)
17 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (for brushing buns)
18 - 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

# Directions:

01 - Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, smoked paprika, and onion powder in a small bowl. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate until needed.
02 - In a large bowl, mix ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder gently. Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each into a small patty slightly larger than the buns to accommodate shrinkage during cooking.
03 - Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned and fully cooked. During the last minute, place a half-slice of cheddar cheese atop each patty to melt.
04 - Brush melted butter onto the cut sides of the slider buns. Toast them in a dry skillet or oven until golden brown.
05 - Spread special sauce evenly on both top and bottom buns. Place a cheese-topped patty on the bottom bun, then layer with a pickle slice, optional onion, tomato, and shredded lettuce. Cap with the top bun and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
06 - Serve immediately while hot.

# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • They're small enough that people feel like they can eat three without guilt, but somehow they're incredibly satisfying.
  • The special sauce is genuinely addictive—it's tangy, creamy, and tastes like it came from somewhere fancy, but it's literally just five ingredients you probably have right now.
  • Kids and adults both devour these, making them the rare dish that actually brings everyone to the table happily.
02 -
  • Never skip the butter on the buns—I learned this the hard way after a batch where they soaked up all the sauce and fell apart mid-bite, and it changed everything once I started toasting them properly.
  • Resist the urge to press down on the patties while they cook; it squeezes out all the flavorful juices and leaves you with dry hockey pucks instead of juicy little burgers.
03 -
  • If you're cooking for a really big crowd, brown all your patties first, then top them with cheese and keep them warm on a low oven while you assemble; this keeps everyone eating at roughly the same time instead of in waves.
  • Hawaiian rolls work beautifully if you can't find traditional slider buns, and they add a subtle sweetness that some people prefer.
